Van Der Riet Inc. is the data controller for personal data processed through FarmFix AI. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, farm or shop name, login credentials) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Your content (equipment records, repairs, photos, uploaded manuals, assistant conversations) — to provide the Service (contract).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (contract / legitimate interests).
• Marketing emails, if any — only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host, store and process data for us, including our hosting, database and AI providers.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month. Contact us through the FarmFix AI app.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and make the app work. We do not use advertising cookies.
